where operational requirements do not always occur within traditional office hours.The successful candidate must have a reasonable degree of flexibility and responsiveness when time-sensitiveoperational or administrative matters arise outside regular office hours.This does not mean routinely working extended hours; rather, we require someone who understands the natureof the industry and recognizes that payroll, fleet, client, employee, compliance, or operational matters mayoccasionally require timely attention.We are specifically looking for a candidate interested in becoming a long-term, sustainable member of theorganization who values stability, accountability, and taking ownership of their position.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to Ownership, the Bookkeeper / Office Manager is responsible for supporting and managingthe administrative and financial functions that revolve around the company's day-to-day operations.Accounts ReceivableProcess accounts receivable internally and through online client portalsMaintain accurate and current customer documentationTrack submissions and follow up on outstanding requirements as necessaryAccounts PayableProcess accounts payable using various methods of remittanceMaintain accurate vendor documentation and payment recordsManage company credit cards and associated reconciliation/documentationPayroll & Employee AdministrationManage and process payroll through the online payroll portal twice monthlyMaintain accurate and current payroll and employee recordsCoordinate year-end payroll requirements, including T4s, T2200s, and related documentationManage WCB requirements for Alberta and SaskatchewanAdminister employee benefitsProcess and remit PST, GST, and other required government filingsCoordinate documentation and reporting with the company's off-site accountantComplete journal entries, banking, and reconciliationsPrepare financial reportingComplete month-end processesPrepare fiscal year-end documentation for the off-site accountantFleet & Asset AdministrationManage fleet licensing and registrationsCoordinate IFTA and Prorate requirements and online reportingMaintain current fleet records and documentationSupport fleet asset management and associated administrative requirementsOffice & Operational AdministrationMaintain organized,
