Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fleet Safety & Compliance Manager to join our organization. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and operational standards of our fleet operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all vehicles and drivers adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and safety best practices, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Duties

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fleet safety policies aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor driver performance, provide coaching, and facilitate ongoing training programs focused on safety, compliance, and best practices.
- Stay current with local, national, and international transportation regulations; ensure organizational adherence.
- Manage documentation related to vehicle inspections, maintenance records, licensing, and compliance certifications.
- Lead investigations into incidents or accidents involving fleet vehicles; analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions.




- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate safety standards into vehicle procurement and maintenance processes.
- Coordinate training sessions on safety procedures, regulatory updates, and compliance requirements for drivers and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, training sessions, and incident reports.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness through communication campaigns and leadership engagement.

Skills

- Proven experience in fleet management within manufacturing or logistics environments.
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations and compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in developing training programs and facilitating staff development initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills for incident investigations and process improvements.
- Effective communication skills to engage diverse teams at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation related to vehicle maintenance, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
