Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Covering Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, and vinyl, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help transform spaces and create beautiful, functional environments for our clients.

Duties

- Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
- Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
- Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors
- Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
- Prepare and install hardwood floors
- Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
- Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations
- Estimate costs and materials




- Prepare floors for installations
- Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

Qualifications

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years work experience
- Can work flexible hours
- Can start as soon as possible
