Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant/Baker to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face behind the counter, preparing and serving delicious baked goods and food items with enthusiasm and precision. Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods and food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter, taking orders with a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and handle cash, credit, or debit payments with care
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely food preparation, serving,



and restocking during busy periods
- Assist in food handling tasks such as packaging, portioning, and maintaining freshness of baked goods

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is highly preferred, especially within restaurant or bakery environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and inventory management

Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to apply. Students under 18 will be paid the provincial minimum wage rate. Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
