Fastener Warehouse Ltd. is a growing distributor serving customers across Western Canada and the United States. We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to support our forecasting, inventory planning, and customer service operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and helping ensure customers have the products they need when they need them.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Inventory Planning (Primary Focus)

- Analyze customer usage trends and demand forecasts.
- Maintain and update forecasting spreadsheets and inventory planning tools.
- Review inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excess stock.
- Assist with replenishment planning and inventory strategy.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Sales, and Logistics teams to support inventory availability.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and investigate significant variances.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for inventory and purchasing decisions.
- Assist with customer forecast imports, data cleanup, and forecasting maintenance.

Customer Service & Sales Support

- Enter and review customer orders.
- Provide order status updates and communicate delivery expectations.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and basic order-related questions.
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams to resolve issues.
- Process customer requests and maintain accurate records.




- Support the sales team with administrative and customer service tasks as required.

Qualifications

- Strong Excel skills required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in forecasting, inventory management, customer service, purchasing, supply chain, or related fields is considered an asset.

Preferred Experience

- Inventory planning or demand forecasting.
- ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Purchasing or supply chain support.
- Distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or industrial environments.

Most importantly, they take pride in helping ensure customers receive exceptional service and that inventory is managed effectively. Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
