This role involves assisting with the evaluation of clients and their transactions against sanctions risks. Your contributions will help ensure that RBC adheres to critical regulatory standards while gaining insights into sanctions enforcement and geopolitical finance. You'll help build an in-depth understanding of regulations while achieving impactful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review client activities for sanctions risk analysis
• Collaborate on daily investigations and assessments
• Participate in GES process and technology projects




• Conduct research on proliferation finance and risks
• Develop understanding of the international sanctions framework
Requirements:
• Background in financial compliance highly desirable
• Familiarity with sanctions regulations essential
• Solid communication and analytical skills
• Previous internship experience in finance an asset
• Must be located in Ontario for the internship duration
