Job Overview

Maxel Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to support daily manufacturing and shop operations.

The selected candidate will assist with material handling, part preparation, cleaning, assembly, packaging, and other duties required to maintain an organized and efficient manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

- Assist with daily manufacturing and production activities.
- Load, unload, move, and organize raw materials, finished parts, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare materials and components for machining, assembly, and other manufacturing processes.
- Perform deburring, cleaning, grinding, and basic finishing of manufactured parts.
- Assist CNC operators and other production employees with material and part preparation.
- Assist with assembly and sub-assembly of custom-manufactured components.
- Clean manufactured parts and prepare them for quality inspection, assembly, packaging, or shipment.
- Package and label finished products for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization around machines, work areas, production areas, and storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and organizing incoming materials and goods.




- Use basic hand tools, power tools, and other shop equipment as required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety rules and procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
- Report damaged materials, equipment problems, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Perform other general manufacturing duties as required.

Requirements

- High school education is preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, a machine shop, warehouse, or industrial setting is an asset.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and move materials and parts.
- Ability to work in a standing position and perform physical work for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
