We are looking for a full time garage door technician that can complete or assist with installations and services of both commercial and residential garage doors and operators. Willing to train as needed.
Job Duties
Installing garage doors in both residential and commercial buildings
Repair and maintenance of garage doors and systems
Ensuring a high level of customer service
Maintaining a clean and safe work site
Completing paperwork as required
Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent preferred
Valid G driver's license and acceptable driving abstract
Previous experience is an asset; employer is willing to train the right candidate
Mechanically inclined, physically capable of some heavy lifting and working at a fast pace
Familiar with the use of small hand and power tools
Comfortable working at heights,
including ladders & lift equipment (ie. scissor lift)
Additional Information
Position is full time; Monday - Friday
Wage is competitive and TBD based on experience
Reliable transportation to and from shop; employer provides work vehicle to job sites
