CONCRETE & EPOXY FLOORING INSTALLER

Prudant Construction & Flooring (PCF) is looking for a reliable and hardworking Concrete & Epoxy Flooring Installer to join our team in the GTA and surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in concrete preparation, epoxy coatings and flooring systems.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Experience operating large planetary concrete grinders / big grinders.
- Comfortable using 5" and 7" hand grinders.
- Concrete grinding and surface preparation.
- Experience with saw cutting.
- Experience using Ardex patching products.
- Experience repairing cracks, holes, divots and damaged concrete.
- Able to mix, trowel and apply slurry systems.
- Experience building and finishing epoxy coves.
- Experience building standard and 45-degree coves.
- Able to properly mix epoxy, primers, base coats, topcoats and coating materials.
- Experience applying epoxy with a squeegee.
- Experience rolling and back-rolling epoxy and topcoats.
- Experience broadcasting decorative flakes.
- Understanding of proper vacuuming, cleaning and concrete preparation before coating.
- Comfortable using grinders, vacuums and standard concrete flooring equipment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of relevant concrete and epoxy flooring experience.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Own reliable vehicle and ability to travel to different jobsites throughout the GTA.
- Reliable, punctual and dependable.
- Strong work ethic.




- Comfortable with physically demanding work.
- Able to load, unload and move grinders, vacuums, tools and materials.
- Comfortable working long days and additional hours when projects require it.
- Available for early starts, evenings and weekends depending on project schedules.
- Able to work efficiently as part of a crew.
- Able to follow instructions and perform regular flooring tasks without constant supervision.

- Concrete polishing experience.
- Grind and seal experience.
- Polyaspartic coating experience.
- Epoxy mortar experience.
- Urethane cement experience.
- Moisture-tolerant primer experience.
- Experience with industrial flooring systems.
- Experience with industrial dust extraction equipment.

ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for someone who understands the complete flooring process, from concrete preparation, grinding, saw cutting, repairs, patching and cove work to epoxy mixing, squeegee application, rolling, flake broadcasting, slurry systems and final topcoats.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented and willing to contribute throughout the entire job, from loading and unloading equipment to final installation and finishing.
