Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Warehouse Associate to join our agile team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing a variety of tasks including processing and verifying cargo details , loading and unloading shipments, operating a forklift to help with lifting , and maintaining safety standards. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help ensure a smooth process, timely deliveries, and a safe working environment.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems and equipment operation while contributing to a quick-paced logistics operation.

Duties

- Load and unload shipments efficiently with the use of forklifts and follow all safety protocols.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound goods
- Assist with arranging and dispatching the drivers schedule.
- Maintain cargo and supplies inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation, organization, and documentation.




- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and supplies and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards or discrepiancies.

Skills

- Experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environment
- Ability to operate a forklifts, vehicle and warehouse machinery safely
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control and order processing
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload materials efficiently
- Construction experience or background in handling heavy loads with construction tools or equipment
