The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity in hair styling and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for all clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation by following sanitation protocols and ensuring all tools are properly sanitized.
- Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and offer professional advice on styles that suit their features.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and outstanding customer service.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with the best possible service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling with a valid cosmetology license.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in upselling products or services.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the salon.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
