Right at Home Maple Ridge is looking for experienced professionals as well as newly certified Health Care Assistants (HCAs) who are currently registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry to join our team of exceptional caregivers and provide 1:1 client care in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and surrounding communities.

Our Candidates Will Need

- Police Criminal Background Check with VSS
- Updated immunizations and proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- HCA certification or equivalent and registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Current certificate in Standard First Aid and CPR




- Ability to travel freely to see clients

Duties

- Assisting with personal grooming
- Bathing
- Dressing and undressing
- Mobilization activities (turning, transferring, exercising, and walking)
- Toileting
- Eating and meal preparation
- Specialty care an asset (i.e., Alzheimer's, dementia, chronic conditions)
- Companionship and outings
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving
- Must be passionate, patient, caring, and committed

Schedule and Hours This is a part-time/casual position with adaptable and variable hours based on client needs and caregiver availability.
