Customer and Personal Services, Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Office and Databases System)Maintain regular and consistent attendance within the corporate standard.Responsibilities:Responsible for the daily operations of the Central Stores DepartmentProcesses stores requisitions (fills order, tracks and records notes in database, delivers goods)Cooperates with other departments regarding supply/equipment requirementsPrepares purchase orders for replenishment of stock; places orders with vendors via phone, fax, or internetPhysically receives goods from suppliers, checks order and records quantities and condition of received goods against purchase orders; enters received goods into database systemEnsures goods are put away in proper space/shelf/room in Central Stores and Food ServicesWorks closely with the Manager in controlling adequate inventory levels, re-order points, minimum stock levels, etc.Ships supplies to external sites/organizationsMatches vendor invoices with receiving reports and packing slips, forwards to manager for payment approvalCoordinates with Accounts Payable to ensure accuracy of stock item prices, and price increasesParticipates in quarterly inventory countsRotates inventory as current stock is receivedContacts suppliers to ensure reasonable delivery date of goods orderedMaintains stock item information in software systemPerforms other related duties as requiredSalary/Benefits:As per Unifor Collective AgreementApplications:Internal applications must be submitted online through the Staff Resource Hub.
