Heavy Equipment Operator/ Class III Driver

The opportunity

Operate a roll-off truck, D6T, excavator, loader, skid steer, packer and other heavy equipment as required within landfill cells.

Monitor trucks as they unload and place waste within cells.

Work independently while communicating clearly and positively with colleagues and site users.

What you bring

At least two years of heavy equipment experience.

Grade 12 or equivalent and a Class 3 driver’s licence.

Motivation, a positive attitude, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule and reporting

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends.



Occasional evening and weekend overtime is required. The position reports to the PRWMC Landfill Supervisor and General Manager.

The position is located at the East Peace Regional Landfill, 20160 TWP RD 840. Please do not apply if you do not currently reside within a reasonable commute.
