Hotel General Manager (Sales oriented) – for a Full-Service City Center Luxury Boutique Hotel in Vancouver, BC

Our client is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead a full-service hotel in Vancouver area British Columbia, featuring restaurants and bars. For the right individual, this role offers the opportunity to combine branded-hotel experience with sales and entrepreneurial leadership and make a significant impact in the Vancouver market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially (sales) minded hotel leader who enjoys being close to the business and wants to make a visible impact on a property. The ideal candidate brings the discipline and service standards of a branded hotel together with the entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility of an independent operation.

The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the hotel's operations, financial performance, sales strategy, guest experience, and food & beverage outlets. A major focus of the role will be growing revenue and profitability. The successful candidate will be expected to be active in the market, develop key relationships, generate new business, and work closely with the team to maximize rooms and F&B; performance.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys selling, building relationships, developing people, and creating a strong hotel culture.

We are looking for a proven hotel leader with:

- Strong sales and business-development orientation and a track record of generating hotel business.




- Previous experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader in a full-service property.
- Experience with a city-center, urban, or high-volume hotel in British Columbia or elsewhere in Canada.
- Strong food & beverage experience, including restaurants, bars, banquets, or catering.
- Solid financial and commercial skills, including P&L; management, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
- Experience working within a branded hotel environment, combined with the ability to operate effectively in an independent setting.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to be highly visible with guests, employees, clients, and the local business community.
- Solid leadership skills and a genuine ability to develop and motivate people.
