Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a welcoming demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS if available
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any needs or concerns
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed, ensuring smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations
- Basic math skills for cashiering, math calculations, and billing accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
