Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation, handling, and sanitation protocols are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations to uphold sanitation standards




- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service

Requirements

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and upselling opportunities
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
