- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, providing a welcoming environment for guests upon arrival.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and service flow.
- Answer guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details.
- Support guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and organization to uphold high standards of hospitality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in restaurant settings.
- Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with hotel or restaurant reservation software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
