We currently have an employment opportunity for a full time Houseman to join our team.

Working closely with other members of the Housekeeping Team and your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will ensure our guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standard, and that our guests feel valued.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas;
- Taking radio calls and responding to guest requests;
- Delivering clean laundry to the service rooms;
- Dusting, vacuuming and removing the garbage and recycling;
- Reporting maintenance problems, lost and found articles and other room-related issues to a supervisor;
- Maintaining storage rooms;
- Listening and responding to guest requests or complaints and following up with a supervisor if required;
- Actively providing exceptional guest service to our guests and following through on guest requests;
- Maintaining a clean, protected,



hazard-free work environment at all times;
- Understanding the emergency procedures for the entire hotel;
- Moving heavy objects as requested;
- Assisting with any other duties as assigned.

SHIFTS A variety of daytime and evening shifts, including some weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 1 year of hotel-related Housekeeping experience an asset
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with attention to detail;
- Strong communication skills in the English language;
- Excellent time-management skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to lift and perform physical labor over a long period up to 8 hours;
