Position Overview

We are currently seeking a warm, experienced Infant Lead Teacher. This role focuses on caring for and guiding infants in a calm, responsive Montessori-inspired environment.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and passionate about supporting babies' early development while building strong relationships with families.

Responsibilities

- Create and maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing infant setting
- Follow Montessori and respectful caregiving practices for infants
- Support infants' physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain consistent feeding, sleeping, and care routines
- Observe and document developmental milestones




- Build trusting relationships with infants and their families
- Communicate daily with parents about their child’s care and development
- Maintain accurate documentation and classroom records
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture

Qualifications
- Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate (required)
- Experience working with infants (12–18 months)
- Montessori training or experience is an asset
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality
