? Hiring: Interim Corporate Controller | 15–18 Month Contract | Mississauga, ON

We are currently partnering with a well-established organization to hire an experienced Interim Corporate Controller for a long-term contract opportunity.

? Location: Mississauga, ON

? Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

? Contract: Approximately 15–18 months

This is a hands-on doer/reviewer leadership role for a strong accounting professional who can manage the month-end and statutory reporting environment while providing leadership to an established finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting and reporting processes
- Oversee operational accounting, financial reporting, statutory reporting, audit and tax-related activities
- Manage and develop a finance team, including experienced accounting professionals/managers
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements and supporting schedules
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow activities
- Oversee accounting across multiple wholly owned legal entities

• Work within an ASPE reporting environment

- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors
- Drive process improvements and support finance-related projects




- Provide financial guidance and business partnering across the organization

What We’re Looking For:

✅ CPA designation required

✅ Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience

✅ Solid ASPE knowledge

✅ Experience working within a multi-entity organization; multinational exposure is an asset

✅ Good general understanding of corporate tax and statutory reporting

✅ Proven ability to operate as both a hands-on contributor and people leader

✅ Strong month-end and year-end close experience

✅ Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills

✅ Strong systems and Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is an asset

This opportunity would be ideal for an experienced Corporate Controller, Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or Senior Accounting Manager who enjoys remaining hands-on while leading a team.
