We are seeking Group Fitness instructors that have a passion for providing members with an amazing experience at Recreation Centres across the City. If you are a fully qualified Strength & Conditioning, Cycle, Older Adult or Pre/Postnatal instructor and want to share your passion with City of Edmonton members, then this is the position for you!What will you do?Plan and instruct exceptional Group Fitness classes that are secure and effective, providing coaching, feedback, modifications, cueing and encouragementProvide classes that are progressive, challenging and can adapt to the diverse needs of participantsCreate a fun, welcoming, and motivating environmentContribute to the City's Group Fitness Community by communicating in a positive, productive and professional mannerSubstitute classes at various City of Edmonton facilitiesMaintain all mandatory education certifications and attend professional development workshops as neededRecord class statistics and relay information/feedback about classes to Group Fitness CoordinatorsUnderstand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standardsOther duties as requiredQualificationsQualifications :Completion of a fitness instructor certification (Fitness Alberta, Canfitpro, YMCA, or equivalent)Cycle: Completion of Spin or Cycle instructor certification is requiredOlder Adult: Completion of an Older Adult instructor certification is requiredPrePost-Natal:
