Working in the Thoracic Surgery Unit, you’ll provide care for surgical patients and support them throughout their recovery. This dynamic role requires a compassionate approach and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a team-oriented atmosphere. Preference will be given to those with relevant surgical nursing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality nursing care to surgical patients
• Administer and monitor IV medications and pain management
• Support interdisciplinary teamwork and communication




• Engage meaningfully with patients and their families
• Set priorities and fulfill responsibilities effectively
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• One year of recent nursing experience in an acute setting
• BCLS/HCP certification and practical nursing diploma
• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to adapt to changing healthcare needs
