Position Summary

The City of Timmins Facilities & Recreation Department is currently looking for temporary public skating attendants and cashiers for local arenas beginning in November for both weeknights and weekends (days and evenings).

Skating Attendant Duties
Provide on-ice supervision
Enforce public skating rules
Respond to general public inquiries

Cashier Duties
Collect public skating admissions
Complete cash reports
Respond to general public inquiries

Qualifications
Proficient skater (skating attendant)
Experience in handling cash (cashier)




Effective communication and customer service skills
Bilingualism is a definite asset
Current First Aid/CPR certificate and WHMIS (an asset)
