Japanese Language Expert

Job Summary We are looking for Japanese Language Experts to support an AI training project focused on audio transcription and linguistic data. You will use your Japanese language expertise to create accurate, high-quality transcriptions and annotations that help improve AI systems.

No Prior AI Experience Is Required. Key Responsibilities

- Accurately transcribe Japanese audio, capturing content, context, speaker nuances, and linguistic details.
- Review, edit, and validate transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
- Correct errors, inconsistencies, and ambiguities in machine-generated or human-created transcripts.
- Add relevant metadata and contextual annotations as required.
- Follow project guidelines and maintain consistent quality across deliverables.
- Use transcription and audio-review tools to complete assignments efficiently.




- Provide linguistic and cultural insights to support AI model improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Native or near-native fluency in Japanese.
- Strong spoken and written Japanese comprehension.
- Experience in audio transcription, linguistic review, localization, or related language work.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with transcription tools, annotation platforms, or audio-review workflows.
- Proficiency in English to follow project instructions and handle occasional English content.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AI training or data annotation projects.
- Background in language technology or speech-data projects.
- Ability to identify subtle differences in pronunciation, language, and context.
- Solid commitment to quality and consistency.
