Role: Java Front End Developer

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 06 months (RTH)

- Attitude to take it to the end along with the technical skills listed in the qualifications
- Mentoring junior level developers, not managing them- working with junior developers to explain, assign code and review, guiding them to do the right coding
- Looking for Developers, not Architects
- React focused, if they know React they can switch to Angular. Have to be proficient in React. Angular is not required
- Fundamentals of how the structure works, how can they do the programming efficiently
- API integration
- Understanding of Java framework, what is written- as long as they are able to integrate APIs- review and understand code to integrate it (understand Core Java, but not extensive)
- Java, Spring Boot, Angular (having React they can pick up Angular), and microservices from the integration aspect

Responsibilities

- Lead design and development of complex full stack applications using Java and Angular
- Own end-to-end delivery of application components, from design through deployment
- Drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Resolve high-impact technical challenges across systems and platforms
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance
- Partner with stakeholders to define system enhancements and strategic solutions
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability of applications
- Lead testing strategies, code reviews,



and deployment processes
- Identify risks and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

- 7-10+ years of experience in application development
- Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architecture
- Strong experience with API design, SQL, and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (preferred), and DevOps practices
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
