Job Foreman – Sudbury

Groundhogs is growing our Sudbury operation, and we're looking for an experienced, reliable Job Foreman who wants to take ownership of projects and grow with our company.

This is a hands-on leadership position. Our foremen don't just supervise from the sidelines, you'll work alongside your crew, operate equipment when required, solve problems in the field, and make sure projects are completed safely, professionally, and to Groundhogs standards.

We specialize in foundation waterproofing, foundation repairs and replacements.

What You'll Do

As a Job Foreman, you'll be responsible for running projects from start to finish, including:

- Leading and coordinating a small field crew
- Operating excavators and other equipment as required
- Installing exterior waterproofing systems
- Completing foundation repairs and foundation replacement work
- Working with concrete, ICF, drainage systems, backfill and related foundation components
- Reading project plans, drawings and job information
- Coordinating with building inspectors, engineers and other professionals when required
- Communicating professionally with homeowners and customers
- Communicating job progress, issues and material requirements with Groundhogs management
- Organizing the job site and keeping projects moving efficiently
- Identifying problems and helping determine practical solutions in the field
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to company standards
- Completing required job documentation and inspections

The right candidate will

- Have construction,



excavation, foundation, concrete or waterproofing experience
- Have experience operating an excavator
- Be comfortable leading and working with a crew
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Be dependable and show up ready to work
- Be comfortable communicating with customers, inspectors and management
- Be able to think independently and solve problems
- Take pride in quality workmanship
- Have a positive attitude and work well with others
- Be willing to learn Groundhogs systems and installation methods
- Be interested in continuing to learn, develop and take on more responsibility

Experience with every system we install is not required. We can train the right experienced construction professional on our specific systems and processes. Why Groundhogs?

Our crews work on different properties, encounter different challenges and solve real problems. One project may involve waterproofing an existing foundation; another may involve excavation, structural foundation work, ICF or a complete foundation wall replacement.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
