Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (Welding and Fabrication)

We are looking for a skilled Journeyman Mechanic who can keep our fleet on the road and handle welding and fabrication work in-house.

What you will do
- Diagnose, repair and maintain trucks, trailers and oilfield equipment
- Perform CVIPs, PM services and major component repairs
- Weld, fabricate and repair trailers, decks, frames and custom parts
- Keep accurate repair records and recommend parts and maintenance needs
What you bring
- Journeyman certificate (Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or Truck and Transport Mechanic)
- 5+ years of journeyman experience
- Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG, stick and cutting); welding ticket is an asset
- CVIP inspector licence is an asset
- Own set of journeyman tools
Pay: $40.00-$55.62 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
