RG Electric is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team.

You’ll work across a variety of commercial, residential, service, and renovation projects, handling everything from new installations to troubleshooting and system upgrades.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and project specifications.

Complete wiring, conduit installation, panel assembly, equipment connections, and system upgrades.

Diagnose electrical problems efficiently and recommend practical solutions.

Perform renovations, service upgrades, and replacements of existing electrical infrastructure.

Work with commercial, residential, industrial, and low-voltage systems.

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other trades to keep projects running smoothly.

Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.





Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials, and service findings.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification or equivalent recognized qualification.

Strong knowledge of electrical codes, wiring methods, and protected work practices.

Ability to accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Experience with conduit bending, panel work, troubleshooting, renovations, and electrical installations.

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Professional, dependable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.

Experience working in active construction and service environments.

Additional Assets

Commercial or industrial electrical experience.

Experience with low-voltage systems.

Familiarity with programmable logic controllers, automation, or control systems.

Service-call and renovation experience.

Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
