Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the accounting department by assisting with daily bookkeeping tasks, account reconciliations, and financial data analysis. Duties

- Assist with maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions using accounting software such as Simply accounting, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft
- Support the preparation of bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Help process payroll and manage related documentation in compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Collaborate on budgeting activities by gathering data and preparing reports for review by senior accountants
- Aid in auditing processes by compiling necessary documentation and supporting internal or external audits




- Perform regular bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking
- Contribute to month-end closing procedures by preparing journal entries and reconciling ledger accounts

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or technical degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant internship experience is a plus
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of corporate finance principles including account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting processes
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to evolving financial systems
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
