You will support the chef by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent service to our guests. Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to support chefs and cooks
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Support food handling procedures by following proper hygiene practices and safety protocols at all times
- Serve food to customers or staff efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude
- Aid in meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation standards are met before serving




- Follow cooking instructions accurately under supervision and assist with basic cooking tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control of ingredients

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and best practices in the food industry
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Basic understanding of serving techniques, meal preparation, and cooking processes
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
