Food Production Assistant

About the Role

We are a rapidly growing food manufacturing business specializing in frozen pizzas and pasta products. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Production Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, production, packaging, and inventory management while maintaining our high standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist with the production of frozen pizzas and pasta products.
- Assemble pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Cook, package, and vacuum seal products for distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools to track ingredients and finished products.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
- Monitor product quality and maintain consistency in all production processes.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Assist with general kitchen and production area cleaning and organization.





Qualifications & Skills
- Previous food preparation, kitchen, or food production experience is an asset.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
- Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety guidelines.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
