Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Sunshine Landscaping Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate landscaping crews and ensure landscaping projects and grounds maintenance work are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

Main Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping workers and crews.
- Schedule work and assign daily tasks to landscaping staff.
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance and landscaping activities.
- Plan and supervise landscape construction work.
- Estimate labour, materials, equipment, and supplies required for landscaping projects.
- Organize and direct the planting of trees, gardens, lawns, and other landscape features.
- Supervise the construction and installation of landscape features, including walkways, patios, fences, decks, and retaining walls, where applicable.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects meet quality standards, specifications, and schedules.
- Maintain work records, schedules, and project logs.
- Resolve work-related problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and quality.
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.




- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Perform related landscaping duties when required.

Employment Requirements

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant landscaping experience is required.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in landscaping is an asset.
- Knowledge of landscaping construction, grounds maintenance, tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate landscaping crews.
- Ability to plan work and estimate labour and material requirements.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at different job sites.
