Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laser Nesting/Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing efficient laser cutting programs, optimizing material usage through precise nesting techniques, and ensuring high-quality production outputs. Your expertise will help streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize laser cutting programs using PRONEST software, ensuring accurate and efficient part fabrication.
- Utilize laser nesting software to arrange parts on raw materials, maximizing material utilization and minimizing waste.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately program machines and verify part specifications.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to review quality control standards, inspect finished parts using calipers and hand tools, and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, nesting layouts, and production logs for traceability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications





- Proven experience with Pronest nesting software.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments during machining processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely within a manufacturing or warehouse environment; certification preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes including laser cutting and forming.
- Warehouse experience is a plus for understanding inventory management related to raw materials and finished goods.
