Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Servers to join our newly forming culinary team!

The Lead Server is a working dining-service position that supports the coordination of dining-room service during assigned meal periods and shifts. The role works alongside the serving team, helping to ensure service readiness, effective communication, consistent service standards and a positive dining experience for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Actively participate in meal service while providing day-to-day guidance and support to Servers / Dining Room Attendants during assigned meal periods.
- Confirm dining rooms and service areas are ready for service, including table settings, supplies, menus, beverages and overall presentation.
- Coordinate server assignments and service flow during assigned shifts and adjust deployment as resident or operational needs change.
- Support timely communication between dining employees and culinary leadership regarding meal timing, menu changes, special requests and service issues.
- Support and reinforce Trinity Manor dining-service and hospitality standards, including greeting, service sequence, resident assistance, clearing, resetting and professional presentation.
- Assist with the orientation and training of new dining employees in service procedures, resident expectations, food safety and workplace practices.




- Support accurate beverage and alcohol service in accordance with Saskatchewan requirements and Trinity Manor procedures.
- Confirm assigned opening, closing, cleaning and service checklists are completed and report deficiencies.
- Observe and communicate staffing, attendance, supply, equipment or service concerns to the Resident Services Manager.
- Support tray service, special functions, celebrations, catering and resident events as assigned.
- Work closely with culinary employees and other departments to support a coordinated resident dining experience.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous restaurant, hospitality, seniors-living or customer-service experience is required; previous lead-hand or shift-lead experience is preferred.
- Strong hospitality orientation and demonstrated ability to guide coworkers respectfully while remaining an active member of the service team.
- Ability to organize service flow, prioritize tasks and respond calmly to resident and operational needs.
- Recognized food-safety training/certification is required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
- Serve It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS) certification is required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a adaptable schedule including meal periods, evenings, weekends and special events.
- Satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector screening is required.
