OrbitPro Construction is looking for an experienced renovation professional who can work independently and supervise a small crew when required.

We complete residential, commercial and institutional projects throughout the Ottawa area. Our work includes renovations, framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, painting, doors, finish carpentry and general construction.

This is a hands-on working-lead position. We need someone who takes ownership, solves problems and represents OrbitPro professionally with clients, contractors and other trades.

Responsibilities

- Perform residential and commercial renovation work from demolition through finishing.
- Complete framing, carpentry, drywall, doors, trim, flooring, painting and other general renovation tasks.
- Read drawings and written scopes of work.
- Plan daily activities and identify material requirements.
- Supervise and support a small crew when required.
- Maintain quality, productivity, site cleanliness and safety.
- Communicate professionally with clients, general contractors and the company owner.
- Identify unforeseen conditions and potential changes before proceeding.

Qualifications
- Minimum seven years of renovation or construction experience.
- Strong abilities across several renovation trades.
- Residential and commercial experience preferred.
- Previous crew-leadership or supervisory experience.
- Able to work independently without constant direction.
- Strong problem-solving, organization and communication skills.




- Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
- Basic personal hand tools.
- WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications are assets.

Compensation
- $32–$37 per hour, based on demonstrated skills and leadership experience.
- Full-time, permanent employment.
- Primarily Monday to Friday.
- Varied residential, commercial and institutional projects.
- Opportunity to grow into a larger site-supervision role.
- Performance and compensation review after 90 days.
