FiSH&SiPS; are seeking a part-time line cook for Thursday and Friday evenings during the week and also full day Saturdays .

We are closed every Sunday and Monday and operating hours are;

Tuesday-Saturday 12-8pm

No late nights!

This job would suit students or anyone looking for part-time employment during afternoon/evening hours.

Busy, fast-paced kitchen with a fairly simple menu, we have a good group of staff in place and a friendly work environment. Some experience appreciated, but not a deal-breaker as training will be provided.

Some prep, but mostly cooking and preparing meals on the line.

Uniform provided.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.




- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication during meal preparation.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is appreciated but not a deal-breaker.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.60-$22.39 per hour
