Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked safely, maintaining proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations to promote a safe kitchen environment
- Monitor cooking processes to ensure timely delivery of orders while preserving quality
- Support the team by serving dishes promptly and accurately during busy service hours
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation practices diligently to uphold health standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred
- Robust knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling safety
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service expectations in a restaurant setting
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving kitchen needs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required
