Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products, offering knowledgeable recommendations and product demos when applicable
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
- Maintain accurate cash registers, process payments, and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity
- Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure proper merchandising to attract customer attention and maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and upselling relevant products to enhance sales performance
- Conduct basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and change accurately while managing time effectively during busy periods




- Uphold store policies regarding age verification and responsible alcohol sales in compliance with legal regulations

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; experience in alcohol or beverage sales is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for daily operations
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, product displays, and store cleanliness
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with merchandising strategies will be considered an asset
