Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Hamilton, ON. This position is responsible for coordinating daily transportation activities, including scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and communicating with carriers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure on-time performance.

The Logistics

Coordinator monitors inventory levels, updates systems with accurate shipment and order information, and helps resolve service issues or delays in a professional and timely manner. The role includes reviewing logistics data to identify efficiencies, maintaining documentation and compliance records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the distribution network.

Coordinator works closely with operations and customer service teams to provide responsive, high-quality support aligned with customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret logistics data, identify trends, and support process improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with carriers, internal teams, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive, professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess experience with Inventory Management, including tracking stock levels and maintaining accurate records in relevant systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, particularly in transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with logistics or ERP software, strong organizational and time-management skills, and attention to detail.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in transportation or distribution, is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Hamilton, ON, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment is required.
