Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator helps organize livestock logistics, export documentation, health compliance, and shipment administration by working closely with customers, barns, trucking companies, veterinary clinics, sales and accounting teams to ensure accurate, and compliant animal deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics

- Creating truck schedules each week (Communication between barns, customers, and trucking companies)
- Sending out order confirmations to customers

- Checking Trailer Inspections daily
- Sending loading and delivery confirmations to barns and customers weekly
- Communication with the sales team on animal availability

Exports

- Order tags for barns and exports
- Communicate with vet clinics on exports
- Proofing health and export papers and inspections

Health





- Sending customer vets and barn managers health certificates and lab results
- Work with the Health team to ensure all proper pre-ship testing is covered
- Have oversight on lab results to ensure barns are in good health and can ship animals

Accounting

- Saving BOLs and truck invoices to the correct folders
- Processing BOLs and scale tickets for accounting
- Communicating with trucking companies when there are errors

Qualifications and Skills:

- Post secondary education in Logistics, or Business preferred
- Experience in the swine industry would be considered an asset
- Proficient in all Microsoft Platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: Starting at $20 an hour, dependent on education and experience Perks: A comprehensive benefit and pension package will be provided
