WRDSB is currently hiring for its Before and After School Support program, seeking individuals to work alongside Designated Early Childhood Educators. You will focus on creating a secure, engaging atmosphere for students in junior kindergarten to grade 6. This role emphasizes positive interactions, support for inquiry and exploration, and an inclusive workplace for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with DECE to implement classroom activities
• Support children’s self-regulation and positive communication
• Facilitate individual and group play experiences




• Ensure children's health and safety during activities
• Maintain engagement with parents about their children
Requirements:
• Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in supervising children in secure environments
• Certification in Standard First Aid with CPR
• Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Complete necessary health and safety assessments
