roles include:Education AssistantsCasual Support Positions Overview: Education AssistantEducation Assistants work with teaching staff to support students with diverse abilities and unique needs, including autism, behavioral challenges, mental health issues, and physical health concerns.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate positive interactions among students, staff, and the communitySupervise and monitor student conductAssist with physical tasks, including lifting and transferring studentsSupport students during break periods and bus arrival/departureEducation & ExperienceDiploma or Certificate in Child and Youth Care or Education Assistance (preferred)Experience working with children with communication delays and challenging behaviorsFirst‐Aid Level I and Non‐Violent Crisis Intervention certification (asset)Strong teamwork and communication skillsWe thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected will be contacted.
