We are seeking a dedicated and skilled lowbed Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and heavy equipment operation.
Duties
- Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload goods using heavy equipment as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations in the oilpatch.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
