Burke Group of Companies is looking for a reliable, hands-on Mail Shop Production Operator to join our Edmonton production team.

This is a full-time production position working with mailing, inserting, inkjet, finishing, and packaging equipment. You do not need previous mail shop experience. We are willing to train the right person who has a good attitude, is dependable, and is comfortable learning how to operate production equipment.

Previous experience in printing, bindery, mailing, warehouse, manufacturing, machine operation, or similar production environments is an asset.

Monday to Thursday

1:00 PM to 11:00 PM

This position offers a consistent four-day work week with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

What You’ll Do

As part of our Mail Department production team, you will:

- Operate mailing and production equipment
- Set up and run inserting equipment
- Operate inkjet addressing equipment
- Feed, stack, sort, and package printed materials
- Prepare finished mail for Canada Post
- Load paper, envelopes, inserts, and other materials into production equipment
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
- Monitor jobs while they are running to ensure quality and accuracy
- Follow job tickets and production instructions
- Verify counts and finished quantities
- Prepare skids, trays, containers, and mail for shipment
- Keep your work area and equipment clean and organized
- Assist with other print, finishing, and production work as needed
- Work with other members of the production team to keep jobs moving efficiently

Experience No previous mail shop experience is required. Training will be provided.
