Job Overview The Manager Franchise Performance (MFP) will play a crucial role in driving the success of our franchise operations. This position involves multi-unit responsibilities, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with franchisees, implementing strategic plans to achieve brand targets, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety, guest experience, and brand culture are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as a business consultant and coach to Owners and Managers on all aspects of their restaurants (business and financial results, effective operations, Team Member engagement, Guest satisfaction and loyalty)
- Reviews all Restaurant Operating reports and audits, analyzes the information and determines appropriate solutions in collaboration with Owners and Managers
- Reviews Restaurants’ financial, business and operating performance, finds opportunities to improve performance, and works collaboratively with Owners and Managers to develop solutions to strengthen performance
- Conducts regular financial (P&L;, Balance Sheet) reviews with Owners and Managers
- Ensures all new initiatives (e.g. product launches, technology initiatives, process improvements, marketing and promotional programs and openings and renovations) are well implemented in order to support sales growth
- Is a Brand/Business Ambassador at all times
- Develop and execute local store marketing programs in partnership with the Franchisee
- Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with senior management to update on regional performance and strategic initiatives.
- Support franchisees in recruiting, training, and developing their teams to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
- Organize and lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars as needed.
- Documentation of all the guidelines provided to franchises to ensure it is standard across the network.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong background in multi-unit management and franchise operations.
- Demonstrated success in business development, strategic planning, and relationship management.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance practices, and customer service excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned region, and nationally as required.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and driving record within provincial guidelines.
