Job Summary

One Path Group is seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic to join our rapidly expanding company. Yellowhead Recreation in Spruce Grove is looking to add to our team immediately.

We are looking for a Journeyperson, registered apprentice, or experienced technician with strong mechanical ability. Powersports, RV, marine, automotive, heavy-equipment, and small-engine backgrounds are all welcome. Small-engine experience is an asset but is not required. Candidates holding relevant trade tickets or apprenticeships in other mechanical fields are encouraged to apply.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, boats, RVs, motorhomes, and other recreational equipment. Responsibilities

- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on powersports, marine, RV, and recreational equipment.
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, fuel systems, and electrical components.
- Complete routine maintenance, including oil changes, fluid services, brake adjustments, tire replacements, and seasonal inspections.
- Use diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to identify problems accurately.
- Disassemble, repair, replace,



and reassemble vehicle components using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
- Install accessories, upgrades, and replacement components when required.
- Perform quality-control inspections and confirm that completed work meets safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, including diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and technician recommendations.
- Communicate repair findings and maintenance recommendations clearly to service staff and customers.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Journeyperson certification, registered apprenticeship, relevant trade ticket, or equivalent mechanical experience.
- Experience in powersports, RV, marine, automotive, heavy-equipment, agricultural, or small-engine repair is an asset.
- Apprentices and technicians from other mechanical trades are encouraged to apply.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension components.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic equipment, and diagnostic instruments.




- Ability to read service manuals, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy shop workplace.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to safely move, lift, and work around recreational vehicles and equipment.
