- Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection, high-level disinfection, sterilization, and reprocessing of reusable medical devices according to established protocols and manufacturer instructions.

- Reprocess adaptable endoscopes and related accessories using appropriate manual and automated processes.

- Operate and monitor automated endoscope reprocessors (AERs) and other MDRD equipment.

- Perform leak testing and inspection of endoscopes prior to reprocessing.

- Disassemble, clean, inspect, disinfect, dry, and store endoscopic equipment appropriately.

- Inspect medical devices for cleanliness, functionality, damage, and defects before they are returned for use.

- Maintain accurate traceability and reprocessing records, including equipment identification, cycle information, quality checks, and documentation.

- Perform and document required quality control and biological/chemical monitoring according to clinic policies and applicable standards.

- Maintain appropriate storage conditions for reprocessed equipment and supplies.

- Ensure work areas and reprocessing equipment are kept clean, organized, and safe.

- Follow all applicable infection prevention and control (IPAC) policies,



occupational health and safety requirements, and manufacturer instructions for use (IFUs).

- Properly handle and dispose of contaminated equipment, sharps, and medical waste.

- Identify and report damaged, malfunctioning, or improperly functioning equipment.

- Communicate promptly with clinical staff regarding equipment concerns or reprocessing issues.

- Maintain adequate inventory of MDRD supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.

- Participate in routine cleaning and maintenance of MDRD equipment.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all applicable privacy requirements.

- Participate in ongoing education and competency assessments related to medical device reprocessing and infection prevention.

- Assist with other clinic duties related to equipment preparation and patient safety and laundry as required.

Pay: $17.62-$24.46 per hour
