Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team! Duties

- Greet patients and visitors warmly, guiding them through check-in and check-out processes with professionalism.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages promptly.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Accuro EMR, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as verifying insurance information, updating patient records, and processing payments.
- Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing supply inventory.




- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize provider availability and reduce wait times.
- Handle correspondence and documentation efficiently to keep the front desk organized and responsive.
- Working hours vary, with most shifts occurring during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a busy healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of medical Ethics and medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Demonstrated office experience with administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling and billing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively at the front desk while managing multiple priorities in a quick-paced setting.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures, insurance verification, and confidentiality standards.
