Starting from October to April, Ledcor is seeking casual operators for road maintenance across Alberta. Candidates should possess a valid Class 1, 2, or 3 license and be open to on-call duties. This role offers industry-leading training and potential for career advancement while operating snowplows and other heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate snowplow trucks and related heavy equipment
Conduct maintenance tasks including pothole repair
Be responsive for weather emergencies and labor needs
Work outside, adapting to winter conditions
Requirements:
Successful drug and alcohol test completion
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Valid driver's license (Class 1, 2, or 3) with air endorsement
Transparent 3-year driver's abstract needed
Previous experience with snowplow operation preferred
